HDFC Bank allots 69883956 equity shares on merger of Centurion Bank

HDFC Bank Ltd has announced that Share Allotment Committee of the Bank at its meeting held on June 24, 2008 have allotted 6,98,83,956 equity shares of Rs 10/- each to the shareholders of Centurion Bank of Punjab Ltd pursuant to the share swap ratio of one (1) equity share of Rs 10/- each of HDFC Bank Ltd for every twenty nine (29) equity shares of Rs 1/- each held in Centurion Bank of Punjab Ltd. by them as on the Record Date i.e. June 16, 2008.
