Jaiprakash Associates Profit down to Rs 127.26 Crore

Jaiprakash Associates Ltd has announced the Unaudited results for the quarter ended June 30, 2008.The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 1272.60 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 as compared to Rs 1398.40 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007. Total Income has increased from Rs 10045.90 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 to Rs 11881.20 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2008.The Stock closed the day at Rs.160.55, up by Rs.11.50 or 7.72%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.163.60 and low of Rs.144.25.The total traded quantity was 5458953 compared to 2 week average of 3960137.
