Net profit of BEML rose 26.72% to Rs 118.50 crore in the quarter ended March 2008 as against Rs 93.51 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2007. Sales rose 11.79% to Rs 1049.03 crore in the quarter ended March 2008 as against Rs 938.42 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2007.
For the full year, net profit rose 10.11% to Rs 225.65 crore in the year ended March 2008 as against Rs 204.93 crore during the previous year ended March 2007. Sales rose 4.77% to Rs 2539.60 crore in the year ended March 2008 as against Rs 2423.87 crore during the previous year ended March 2007.
