Net profit of Torrent Pharmaceuticals rose 54.96% to Rs 51.51 crore in the quarter ended June 2008 as against Rs 33.24 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2007. Sales rose 14.57% to Rs 282.22 crore in the quarter ended June 2008 as against Rs 246.33 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2007.
