Net profit of JSW Steel declined 48.72% to Rs 219.35 crore in the quarter ended June 2008 as against Rs 427.78 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2007. Sales rose 51.03% to Rs 3308.71 crore in the quarter ended June 2008 as against Rs 2190.72 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2007.
