Net profit of Ispat Industries rose 243.25% to Rs 28.73 crore in the quarter ended June 2008 as against Rs 8.37 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2007. Sales rose 53.74% to Rs 2787.81 crore in the quarter ended June 2008 as against Rs 1813.34 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2007.
