Net profit of Bata India rose 37.99% to Rs 16.20 crore in the quarter ended June 2008 as against Rs 11.74 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2007. Sales rose 14.83% to Rs 286.85 crore in the quarter ended June 2008 as against Rs 249.80 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2007.
