Sales rise 28.55% to Rs 4614.82 crore
Net profit of Power Grid Corporation of India declined 44.63% to Rs 240.79 crore in the quarter ended March 2008 as against Rs 434.84 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2007. Sales rose 46.73% to Rs 1519.22 crore in the quarter ended March 2008 as against Rs 1035.38 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2007.
For the full year, net profit rose 17.82% to Rs 1448.47 crore in the year ended March 2008 as against Rs 1229.37 crore during the previous year ended March 2007. Sales rose 28.55% to Rs 4614.82 crore in the year ended March 2008 as against Rs 3589.85 crore during the previous year ended March 2007.
