NTPC commences commercial operation at Stage-II of Unit-I at Sipat Super Thermal Power Project

National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd (NTPC) has announced that the 500 MW Unit-I at Sipat Super Thermal Power Project, Stage-II has commenced commercial operation from June 20, 2008.The stock was trading at Rs.167.75, up by Rs.2.60 or 1.57%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.169.95 and low of Rs.164.The total traded quantity was 1167961 compared to 2 week average of 1327521.
